"Megapomponia imperatoria" Description
Family Cicadidae. Body length: 70–80 mm. Distributed in Southeast Asia. The world's largest cicada, with a wingspan exceeding 200 mm. Inhabits mountainous areas and produces a low, noisy call. Has a remarkably long nymphal stage of 10–15 years and is closely related to Higurashi.
