"Ceratovacuna nekoashi" Description
Family Aphididae. Body length: around 2 mm. Distributed in Hokkaido, Honshu, and Kyushu. Parasitizes a dwarf bamboo called Azuma-nezasa and is characterized by the white waxy powder it exudes over its body. Serves as prey for Goishi-shijimi larvae, while adults have their honeydew consumed by the same butterfly.
