"Flower Mantis" Description
Hymenopodidae family. Body length 35-70mm. Distributed in Southeast Asia. A praying mantis that mimics orchid flowers. It hides from predators by blending in with flowers and preys on insects that mistake it for a flower. The nymphs resemble flowers more closely.
