"Tsetse Fly" Description
Glossinidae family. Body length 5–10mm. Found in Africa. Blood-sucking fly that can transmit African sleeping sickness. Its mouthparts are different from those of typical flies, being hard and needle-like for drawing blood from mammals and birds.
