Lymantriidae family. Body length around 25mm. Present from Honshu southwards. A representative poisonous moth species. Known for its 0.1mm toxic bristles, causing inflammation upon contact. It undergoes two life cycles a year, damaging plants in the Camellia family, including Camellia and Sasanqua.
