"Crimson Burrower Bug" Description
Cydnidae family. Body length 16–20mm. Located south of Kyushu. Feeds on the fruits of the Boroboronoki, which only grows in the southern regions. During its larval stage, it sucks the juice from the fruits, and as it matures, it eats the fruits brought by the parent.
