"Pseudorhynchus japonicus" Description
Family Tettigoniidae. Body length: 45–67 mm. Distributed from Honshu to Kyushu. A large katydid with a white stripe running from the thorax to the base of the wings. Feeds on grasses in the family Poaceae and produces a sustained buzzing "jiii" call.
