"Xylotrupes florensis" Description
Family Scarabaeidae. Body length: 60–85 mm. Distributed in Indonesia. Unlike other Hime-kabuto species, it is distinguished by a pair of projections on the thorax. When threatened, it rubs its abdomen against its wing cases to produce a distinctive hissing sound.
