"Mantis religiosa" Description
Family Mantidae. Body length: 52–66 mm. Distributed from Honshu to the Ryukyu Islands. A mantis with translucent, beautiful wings. Widely distributed from the Palearctic region to Southeast Asia, but in Japan it is designated as an endangered species in some areas.
